2. Website Services

The exact services provided to each client will depend on the package or quotation agreed upon.

Before work begins, HTR WEB BUILDERS may provide the client with a quotation, proposal, package description, or written agreement setting out the scope of work.

Work outside the agreed scope may result in additional charges.

 3. Quotes and Pricing

All prices will be communicated to the client before work begins.

A quotation may specify:

* The services included;
* The total project price;
* Payment requirements;
* Estimated completion timeframe;
* Number of revisions included;
* Additional services or optional extras.

A quotation is valid for the period stated on the quotation. If no validity period is stated, HTR WEB BUILDERS may amend the quotation before the client accepts it.

4. Payment

HTR WEB BUILDERS may require a deposit or full payment before beginning a project.

The required payment structure will be communicated to the client before work begins.

Where a deposit is required, work may only commence once the required payment has been received.

Additional work requested by the client that falls outside the original scope may be charged separately.

 5. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing accurate information and materials required to complete the website.

This may include:

* Business information;
* Logos;
* Images;
* Contact information;
* Product or service information;
* Written content;
* Social-media links;
* Domain information;
* Other information reasonably required for the project.

The client confirms that they have the necessary rights or permission to provide any materials supplied to HTR WEB BUILDERS.

Delays in providing required information or feedback may delay the completion of the project.

 6. Revisions

The number of revisions included in a project will depend on the package or quotation selected.

A revision means a reasonable modification to existing agreed work.

Requests for substantial redesigns, additional pages, new functionality, or work outside the agreed scope may be treated as additional work and may incur additional charges.

 7. Project Timelines

HTR WEB BUILDERS will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the estimated timeframe provided to the client.

Project timelines may be affected by:

* Delays in receiving information or content;
* Delays in receiving client feedback;
* Additional requests;
* Third-party services;
* Domain or hosting issues;
* Technical problems outside our reasonable control.

Estimated completion dates are therefore not guaranteed unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

 8. Website Approval

Before final delivery, the client may be given an opportunity to review the website.

The client is responsible for checking the website and confirming that the information provided is accurate.

Once the website has been approved or published following the client's approval, additional changes may be charged separately if they fall outside the agreed scope.

9. Third-Party Services

Websites may rely on third-party platforms and services, including but not limited to Framer, Wix, WordPress, hosting providers, domain registrars, payment providers, analytics platforms, plugins, fonts, and other software.

HTR WEB BUILDERS does not control third-party services and cannot guarantee their continuous availability, pricing, features, security, or future operation.

Third-party subscription fees may be payable directly by the client unless otherwise agreed.

10. Domain Names and Hosting

Where HTR WEB BUILDERS assists with domain registration or hosting, the relevant costs and ownership arrangements will be communicated to the client.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client remains responsible for renewing domains and third-party subscriptions associated with their website.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, HTR WEB BUILDERS retains ownership of its pre-existing designs, templates, processes, systems, code, tools, and other intellectual property.

Upon full payment of the agreed project fees, the client will receive the rights to use the completed website deliverables created specifically for the client, subject to any third-party licences and platform restrictions.

Third-party materials, software, fonts, plugins, templates, stock images, and platform components remain subject to their respective licences and terms.

 12. Portfolio Use

Unless the client specifically requests otherwise in writing, HTR WEB BUILDERS may display completed websites or selected project work in its portfolio, website, social media, or marketing materials for the purpose of demonstrating our services.

Clients may request that their project not be publicly displayed.

13. Website Content

The client remains responsible for the accuracy, legality, and ownership of content supplied to HTR WEB BUILDERS.

HTR WEB BUILDERS is not responsible for claims arising from unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate content supplied by the client.

14. SEO and Results

Where SEO services are included, HTR WEB BUILDERS may perform basic SEO setup and optimisation.

We do not guarantee specific Google rankings, traffic levels, leads, sales, or other business results because these depend on numerous factors outside our control.

15. Website Security

HTR WEB BUILDERS will take reasonable steps within the scope of the services provided to implement websites correctly.

However, no website or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Where security, hosting, plugins, software, or third-party platforms are involved, the relevant provider's terms and security measures may also apply.

 16. Cancellation

Either party may request cancellation of a project in accordance with the applicable quotation or client agreement.

If a client cancels after work has started, the amount refundable, if any, will depend on the work already completed, payments already made, and the terms agreed with the client.

17. Refunds

Refunds are subject to the agreed project terms and applicable South African law.

Where work has already been completed or services have already been provided, HTR WEB BUILDERS may not be able to provide a full refund.

Any refund arrangement will take into account work completed, third-party costs, and applicable legal requirements.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, HTR WEB BUILDERS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or unforeseeable losses arising from the use of a website or third-party service.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

19. Privacy

Personal information provided to HTR WEB BUILDERS will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data-protection laws.
